Advanced Loan Monitoring for Commercial Real Estate Lenders


The Advanced Loan Monitoring for Lender’s Course is designed to provide participants a stronger understanding of loan monitoring as part of other robust lending protocols for a wide variety of construction projects throughout Canada. Specific focus will be given to real world project examples, problem solving exercises and option analysis for common issues that could potentially arise on the construction projects that they may be financing. After taking this course, participants will have gained additional critical analysis skills and tools to help in their decision-making processes as they manage an ever more complex lending environment.

The 8-hour Advanced Loan Monitoring for Lender’s Course is offered in four consecutive 2-hour modules, starting on Tuesday, June 3rd at 1pm Eastern Time and ending on Tuesday, June 24th

Prerequisite: Lender’s certificate in Construction Loan Monitoring

Ken King

Our presenter, Ken King, has more than 48 years of experience as a professional Quantity Surveyor.  Recently retired from Hanscomb Limited, Ken is now a director with Core Two Construction and Property Consultants.  His past positions also includes senior roles with Alberta Infrastructure, the City of Vancouver and the Territory of Nunavut.  As an instructor, Ken has worked with UBC, the University of Alberta, BCIT, Langara College, VCC, Douglas College, CMHC, Business Development Bank of Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada and the Certified General Accountants of British Columbia.
