Become a Member Firm
Membership in the Canadian Association of Consulting Quantity Surveyors is open to any consulting Quantity Surveying (QS) firm in Canada that meets the admission requirements prescribed as follows:
- The firm shall have been engaged in consulting Quantity Surveying in Canada for at least 1 year. (This provision may be waived at the discretion of the Board for mergers or acquisitions.)
- At least one of the senior partners or officers of the firm is a Professional Quantity Surveyor, certified by the Canadian Institution of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Membership
Category 1: Member Firms with one or two QS professionals on staff.
Category 2: Member firms with a total number of professional and technical QS staff not exceeding five.
Category 3: Member Firms with a total number of professional and technical QS staff ranging from 5 to 30.
Category 4: Member Firms with a total number of professional and technical QS staff of 30 or more.
