Susan Neil, B.Sc., B.Tech, PQS(F), MRICS


Susan Neil is the president at Hanscomb, an independent Quantity Surveying firm that provides Cost Planning and Control services for the country’s largest infrastructure projects including the Gordie Howe International Bridge and the New Hospital for Sick Children.

 

Susan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Western University and earned a Bachelor of Technology in Project Management for the Architectural program at Ryerson University. She landed her first job as a Quantity Surveyor at Hanscomb fresh out of Ryerson and with more than 30 years of experience has been an integral part of Hanscomb’s growth and success.

 

As Chair of Hanscomb’s Board, Susan is responsible for providing strategic direction for all Hanscomb’s offices. She is a fellow of the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). Her passion for the profession is undeniable, and Susan promotes Quantity Surveying at every opportunity.
